Absolutely heartbreaking. I've known Amy a little through blogging going back to 2001 with some correspondence over the years. My heart aches for her and her family. God have mercy on them.

As the meditation in last column makes clear, Christ was very present to Michael Dubruiel in life. Their union is now perfected. May this knowledge sustain and strengthen his heartbroken family.
